Freeing Lost Souls by Tracy Kincaid - Review

Title: Freeing Lost Souls (The Family Tree Series #1)
Author: Tracy Kincaid
Publisher: TK Publishing
Genre: Historical Romance with a hint of paranormal
Stars: 5/5
Acquired: I received this free from the author in exchange for an honest review via Goodreads Paranormal, Fantasy, Dystopia, and Romance Readers, Writers and Reviewers group

This was a great historical romance with a paranormal element. Even if you don't normally read paranormal books I urge you to give this one a chance. The way it is written is very believable that a ghost could have an impact on the here and now. I like how the author set up the supporting details to provide hints before confirming the reader's predictions. The historical part reminded me of Beloved Enemy by Al Lacy. The paranormal aspect reminded me of The Bridge of Deaths by M.C.V Egan. All of the characters were well developed. It felt like they were almost just as close family as they are to Sarah (the main character and voice of the book). This is a very sweet romance story. Anyone from a small town or anyone who has watched shows about small communities where everyone knows everyone and always pitches in to help will definitely appreciate this book!
